Our Air Federation is the first non-profit organization specializing in the air environment in Korea, established on October 22, 2016, with the motto, “Air is life,” to raise awareness of the importance of air and the seriousness of air pollution. In particular, we aim to raise awareness of the importance of air quality in order to respond to indoor and outdoor air pollution problems and climate change issues at home and abroad, and to improve the air environment and achieve sustainable development through activities to prevent and improve exposure to air pollution for vulnerable groups at home and abroad.

Our Air Federation has been holding the World Air Forum, an international seminar commemorating Air Day, with the support of the Ministry of Environment in 2017 to faithfully fulfill its role as a civic group of the first international air expert group in Korea, and has also expanded its overseas branches from 4 to 8 countries.

Clean and clear air is essential for the promotion of human health, and efforts to improve air quality are a task that must be carried out jointly on a global scale. In order to raise awareness of the importance of air around the world, eradicate all air pollution in our daily lives, and raise international awareness of the importance of air through environmental education, publicity, and practice through new civic movements, we have been holding the Air Day event every year since 2010. As a result, the UN designated September 7, 2020 as the ‘International Clean Air Day’, and we are very proud that our federation played a central role. Ultimately, we want to prevent air pollution and contribute to the promotion of health and quality of life of people around the world by supporting vulnerable groups suffering from climate crisis and air pollution problems in countries around the world.

Starting in 2025, our federation will pursue sustainable growth with a new leap forward, and we promise to be with you as we expand into various business areas. We ask for your active participation and interest once again. We wish you good health and happiness always.
